Pirate Franc is lost at sea with his parrot beside him.
When he was searching for an island Franc’s boat got attacked by a vicious, scary shark.
Pirate Franc can’t find his hammer, so the parrot found it. He mends the boat and saves the day.
When the boat got fixed he continues his search and finds a sunny desert island.
This story was inspired by a Great Little Stories five day project. The pupils worked with class teacher Sarah Greaney, designer John Conibear and illustrator/author Lizzie Finlay.
