Nightmare

Evelyn, St James CE Rusholme

One cold strange morning daisy awoke from her deep sleep. She sensed something wasn’t quite right. “Mum, Rose, where are you?” Daisy screamed. Nobody answered. There was not one sound throughout the house.

Daisy comes up with a plan. She pulls her bike from the shed and cycles into town to search for her mum and sister.

Daisy gets her bike from the shed.

She searches for hours and hours and finally decides to stop at the local police station to ask for help. As Daisy stands in the office she suddenly realises that nobody is there. She is all alone. Daisy walks out of the police station to ask for help. She feels scared, spaced out and worried.

Daisy realises she is all alone outside the police station.

She wanders through the streets of the town on her bike but suddenly she crashes into a rock and falls into a mud puddle from her bike. She gets back up and wants to continue the search for her family.

After some more time Daisy gets tired and stops for a rest and sits on a rock beside the blue salty sea. Next minute a crashing sound happened and the waves started to crash and the dark clouds loomed above her. “Hello, you look lost,” yelled a big blue whale. Daisy looked around and there was a whale staring up at her. “I’m not lost, but I have lost my mum and sister.” “Oh have you now. Let me help you find them,” said the whale.

A huge whale appears and and offers to help Daisy.

All of a sudden the whale gulps Daisy up, splashes its tail and squirts Daisy back. “Daisy, Daisy, Daisy,” screamed and shouted Daisy’s mum and sister. “You are having a nightmare. Wake up,” they bellowed in Daisy’s room. Suddenly Daisy starts to hear whispers. The whispers get louder and louder until she comes out of her sleep and realsises that her mum and sister are shouting to wake her up.

Daisy wakes up in her bedroom, with her mum and sister nearby.

Daisy’s eyes start to creep open and she can see all her toys and belongings in her room. “It was a NIGHTMARE,” she squealed. Daisy turned and wrapped her arms around her sister and her mum. She took a deep breath and began to tell them about her scary creepy dream.
