In a lovely barrier reef there lived a beautiful mermaid called Mirinda. She lived with her mum and her six sisters. They were called Pearl, Atlantis, Neptuna, Coral, Oceana and Ariel. Her mum was called Queen Azores.

BANG!! CRASH!! Lightning flashed. Giant grey clouds loomed above and an enormous wave swept Mirinda away from her family.

She looked left and right and saw no sign of her family. “I know, I can ask the Giant Squid.” She swam to the cave still worrying about her family. When she reached the cave there were eels guarding the spooky cave. Out of nowhere she saw three pearls which she could use to pay the eels.

Mirinda looked through the crystal ball and saw that her family was trapped in a shipwreck. Mirinda swam as fast as she could to save her family. She stopped and listened and heard noises coming from the shipwreck. Mirinda saw that her family was stuck in a shipwreck with sharks swarming in circles and looking hungry. She uses fireballs that her father gave her before his death and killed the sharks.

Finally reunited the family decided to spend the treasure to get legs so they can find a new castle on land. Miranda and her family went to the wise Octopus so they can turn into humans. “Mum do we have enough money to buy legs?” asked Mirinda. “Of course we do darling,” said Queen Azores. “Mum do you have seaweed chewing gum?”, asked Coral. When they reached the shop they rang the bell and the door opened. She went in with her family and asked wise Octopus to help.

“So how can I help?” mentioned Octopus. “Well we need to get some legs to become humans,” replied Pearl.

“OK let me go and find the bottle for making mermaids turn into humans.”

“Mummy are you sure you want us to turn into humans?” asked Miranda.
